Foundation
The Montana Grains Foundation carries out the educational, cultural and charitable activities of the Montana Grain Growers Association.
In furthering those goals, the Corporation is empowered to promote and encourage by means of scientific investigations, research or otherwise,
- the advancement of the science of grain growing;
- the conservation of natural resources of Montana through the development of good farming and farm marketing practices;
- the development of new uses and markets for, and improved strains of, wheat, grains, and grain products;
- the dissemination of educational materials and, through a broad range of educational methods and media, the carrying out of educational programs aimed at improving the skills of persons engaged in the growing and marketing of grain in the united States and thereby improve the economic and nutritional well-being of the people of Montana.
Seven Montana grain producers serve on the board of directors and are led by an officer team of four. Officers for 2012 are:
President: Dale Schuler, Carter
Vice President: Dan Works, Loma
Secretary: Darin Arganbright, Carter
Treasurer: Will Roehm, Great Falls
